In the beginning, I was not impressed with tunes like "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" ummmm, yeah, right. I actually preferred the Stones. Then Rubber Soul came out. I don't think they did a song after that that I didn't love. I still have my vinyl copy, and I also have it on CD version.

Came to appreciate the Beatles after I finally listened to the great musical writing and skills. When they first came, I was already supposedly part of the "establishment" and they were the malcontents. Had to keep up the appearance, anyway. Too bad, should have risen above that and paid attention.

Hi Sherry. I remember my parents always arguing about who was better, the Beatles (mom) or the Stone (dad).
Looking back mom was right... about so many damn things.

Hey sinann, I hear what you're saying. When I was in high school I was in a Punk Rock band and absolutely refused to listen to Led Zepplin. i never really listened until the late nineties. They played some great blues inspired rock.
The Beatles have an amazing body of work over a short period of time.
